Our collaborators have launched a new research project to examine the lingering neurological symptoms after COVID-19 infection
The Institute of Experimental Medicine in collaboration with the Brain Imaging Centre and Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology is launching a new research project investigating the persisting neuroinflammatory processes after COVID-19 infection. The aim of this new project is to examine the neurological post-COVID symptoms in the light of neuroinflammation, cerebrovascular dysfunction and abnormalities in cerebral functional connectivity. A further goal of the study is to investigate the influence of COVID-19 infection on the progression of the most common neurological disorders.
